Job Title: Business Analyst Department: Professional Services Location: Frisco, TX SUMMARY OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: While being a member of multiple large and small project teams, provide creative solutions for customer problems. Translate requirements into program specifications, build rating rules, and perform on-site system testing. Works with Technical Consultants to ensure project success. Mentors Associate Business Analysts on gaining detailed knowledge of products and implementation methodology. This candidate will be responsible for working with client decision-makers to develop their rating and underwriting strategy and to implement Skywire Software’s InsBridge rating and underwriting system, along with other Skywire products. The candidate will work closely with developers as well as the client’s organization. - Providing written and verbal project status as required.
- Reviewing other writers’ documentation.
- Participating in product specification, test plan and usability reviews as required.
- Performs other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience using FrameMaker, MSWord, and online help composition tools (Webworks, Robohelp)
- Ability to understand complex software applications.
- 3+ years experience in technical communications.
- Good understanding of required software and operating system environments.
- Basic understanding of at least one Skywire Software product or solution preferred.
- Strong writing skills.
- Strong verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong typing skills.
