Patrick Brandt is president and chief executive officer of Skywire Software, a global provider of market-leading software and services for the insurance, financial services, health care, utility, legal and professional services industries. Brandt founded Skywire Software in 2000. Under his leadership, the company has experienced tremendous growth both organically and through 10 acquisitions. Today, the company he helms serves more than 2,400 customers worldwide.
Under Brandt’s leadership, Skywire Software has earned more than 60 awards in recognition of its high growth, commitment to employees and the community, leadership in industry standards and innovation in technology. Brandt also has earned several accolades for his business acumen, leadership and community service, including recognition as a finalist for the Ernst & Young 2007 Southwest Area Entrepreneur of the Year® Award, the 2006 Ellis Award from the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas and the 2004 Tech Titans Emerging CEO.
An active community volunteer, Brandt serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations focused on promoting entrepreneurship among at-risk youth and philanthropy to emerging and established companies. He is a founding director of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Greater Dallas Chapter. Prior to founding Skywire Software, Brandt was engaged in a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors where he drew together and sharpened many of the skills that he has used in building Skywire Software into a leading global company.
Brandt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance from Southern Methodist University and also participated in the MBA program.
