Patrick Brandt is president and chief executive officer of Skywire Software, a global provider of market-leading software and services for the insurance, financial services, health care, utility, legal and professional services industries. Brandt founded Skywire Software in 2000. Under his leadership, the company has experienced tremendous growth both organically and through 10 acquisitions. Today, the company he helms serves more than 2,400 customers worldwide.

Under Brandt’s leadership, Skywire Software has earned more than 60 awards in recognition of its high growth, commitment to employees and the community, leadership in industry standards and innovation in technology. Brandt also has earned several accolades for his business acumen, leadership and community service, including recognition as a finalist for the Ernst & Young 2007 Southwest Area Entrepreneur of the Year® Award, the 2006 Ellis Award from the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas and the 2004 Tech Titans Emerging CEO.

An active community volunteer, Brandt serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations focused on promoting entrepreneurship among at-risk youth and philanthropy to emerging and established companies. He is a founding director of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Greater Dallas Chapter. Prior to founding Skywire Software, Brandt was engaged in a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors where he drew together and sharpened many of the skills that he has used in building Skywire Software into a leading global company.

Brandt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and finance from Southern Methodist University and also participated in the MBA program.

Randy Skinner is the chief operating officer of Skywire Software. With more than 20 years of deep-domain expertise in property and casualty insurance and technology, Skinner is a driving force in the development of innovative software applications and customer-focused services that helps insurers worldwide solve key business challenges.

Skinner was appointed to his current position following Skywire Software’s merger with Docucorp International in February 2007. He joined Docucorp International in 1991 as a senior engineer bringing experience in software development, underwriting and marketing. In 1994, Skinner led the formation of the company’s professional services group, where he served as vice president and senior vice president for 10 years.

Wendy Gibson was named chief marketing officer of Skywire Software in February 2007. Gibson joined the company in 2001 as vice president of marketing and was subsequently named chief operating officer in September 2004. She has played an integral role in each of Skywire Software’s 10 acquisitions. Gibson also deals extensively with product management and strategic partnerships to ensure the best products are delivered quickly to market for the customer.

She brings more than 18 years of leadership experience in marketing, sales, product management and development of business and consumer software. Prior to joining Skywire Software, Gibson was vice president of marketing at Handango. She previously held various management positions at American Airlines and Sabre Holdings.

Gibson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from The University of Texas at Arlington. Gibson currently serves as vice president of industry relations for the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA), one of the insurance industry’s largest, non-profit, educational trade associations.

Mike McCurley serves as vice president of worldwide sales for Skywire Software. He brings more than 17 years of industry experience in sales, marketing and operations to his role leading sales of the company’s software components and services for insurers.

McCurley joined Skywire Software in March 2007 following the company’s merger with Docucorp International. He has more than nine years of direct software and professional services sales / sales management experience with the company and its predecessor. McCurley previously held positions in life underwriting and health claims at State Farm Insurance and also worked in insurance marketing and market research at TIG Insurance.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne and an MBA in Marketing from Pepperdine University.

Carrie Kirby joined Skywire Software as Chief People Officer and vice president of human resources in November 2007. As a member of Skywire Software’s senior management team, she brings more than 14 years of leadership experience in human resources to the global enterprise software company.

Most recently, Kirby led human resources for two divisions of TXU Energy. She previously held leadership positions at Netrake, a technology company, and Delinea Corporation. She also worked for six years in the technology practice of Ray & Berndtson.

Kirby earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and an MBA from Texas Christian University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management and an active member of several community organizations.
